Fund History

1999

Student Investment Scholarship Fund was endowed by donors Gary and Della Rolle to foster a curiosity and interest in investment management. The initial donation was $200,000.

2000-2019

No student-managed fund existed, and the entire pool of capital was managed by one class (FNCE 4831) which was offered once a year.

Inception - 2019

The club consisted of roundtable finance discussions and equity pitches.

2020

Viraj Suri serves as the club president and works with Matt Fleming at the Burridge Center for Finance to split the money managed by the FNCE 4831 class. At the same time, version 1 of the analyst program was developed, and the first class was held in the spring semester.

2021

LITG Fund Established

Matt Kreimer serves as president. The existing portfolio of about $550K was split equally between the Investment Management Seminar class and Leeds Investment and Trading Group, all overseen by the same fund governing board as defined in the fund agreement. The fund reviewed inherited positions and made sell/hold decisions, the first buys took place, and the first scholarships were awarded.

2024-2025

Cameron Adams serves as president. The club continued its expansion of its professional network with the highest number of guest speakers in an academic year. The largest analyst program class is run in the spring with 30 members, which laid the foundation for new growth in the following year. In 2025, the fund's first Annual Report is published.

2022-2024

Natalia Alexandrova (2022-2023) and Joey Covington (2023-2024) serve as president. As the club grows, the leadership team works to clearly define roles, and facilitate continued growth of the fund and its members. Portfolio Manager role is added and sector reviews are implemented.
